Dr. John Pavlakis
Cosmetic Dentist in ConnecticutDr. Pavlakis received his Bachelor of Science at SUNY New Paltz and continued his dental education at University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During his dental training he was president of his class and after school worked in public health dentistry. Dr. Pavlakis practiced dentistry in Keene, New Hampshire before moving to Connecticut to be closer to his family.
As a practicing dentist, Dr. Pavlakis stays on top of current dental trends by attending many Continuing Education classes in areas such as implants, 3rd molar extractions, and Invisalign.

Registered Dental HygienistMichelle graduated from Westbrook College in 1978 and joined our team here at Advanced Cosmetic and Family Dentistry in 1981. She regularly takes continuing education courses in order to stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry, and she works closely with our doctors and team to provide our patients with excellent care. Michelle loves working with a great team and assisting her patients in achieving good oral health.
Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys gardening and kayaking.

Registered Dental HygienistMy name is Sara Sestito and I graduated from University of New Haven in 2004. I was inducted into the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. As a child I always knew I wanted to be a dental hygienist due to the positive experiences I had going to the dentist where my mother worked for her whole career. Through kindness, patience, and education, it is my goal that every patient understands how to improve the health of their mouth. I am passionate about dental hygiene and enjoy educating patients about the oral-systemic health link.
In my spare time I love spending time with husband, daughter and son. I enjoy working out, listening to country music, and spending time outdoors.

CDAAggie studied dental assisting at Tunix. She brings over 20 years of dental experience to Advanced Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Her goal as a dental assistant is to connect with and to make patients feel more comfortable during their dental visits.

Office ManagerTraci joined our team in October 2019. She has over 25 years of experience in the dental field and leads by example with her attitude, work ethic, knowledge and efforts to build great relationships with our patients and team. For Traci, the best part of our practice is working as a team to give our patients the best experience possible.
Traci values quality time with her family, enjoying kayaking, hiking and camping.
